Refund Policy

This is a convenience translation. In case of any discrepancy, the English version of this document prevails.
This Refund Policy explains how payments, cancellations and refunds work for paid OSRMRoute plans operated by Tunel LLC (“OSRMRoute”, “we”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service. Our payments and billing are handled by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, who appears on your statement and issues invoices and refunds on our behalf.
1. Try before you pay
We offer a free plan so you can evaluate the API, its coverage and its response quality before purchasing a paid plan. We encourage you to test your integration on the free plan first, since it reflects the same engine and data used by paid plans.
2. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at checkout). Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes collected by the Merchant of Record.
3. Refund eligibility
Because the Service is a digital service that is made available immediately, paid fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started and the Service has been used. We may, at our discretion or where required by law, provide a refund in cases such as:
Refunds, when granted, are issued to the original payment method. We do not provide refunds for unused requests within a billing period, for changes in your usage needs, or for dissatisfaction that is not linked to a Service failure.
- a duplicate or accidental charge;
- a documented billing error on our side;
- a sustained failure of the Service that we could not remedy and that prevented normal use;
- where a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country requires a refund.
4. Statutory cooling-off rights
Consumers in some jurisdictions (for example the EU/UK) have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within a set period. Where the Service begins immediately with your express consent, you may be asked to acknowledge that this right can be lost once performance has begun. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have.
5. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or through the customer portal provided by our Merchant of Record. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which the account reverts to the free plan. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact [email protected] with your account email and the charge details, or use the receipt/invoice link from our Merchant of Record, which lets you contact their buyer support directly. We aim to review refund requests within a reasonable time.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of the account while the dispute is investigated.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. We will post updates with a new “last updated” date.
